DAY SIX: Saturday
18…Yes, and I will rejoice,
19 for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance (Phil. 1:18-19 ESV)
Anytime you need help, I’ll send it. Anytime. And while you’ll almost always see the result of my help, you’ll almost always miss the means of my help. Because I frequently work through things that most either fail to see or fail to appreciate.
For example, I work through the prayers of the people who are on the knees at times and in places far removed from you. When they kneel down and ask, I stand up and act. Their prayers rise up and my help comes down. Whenever someone tells you “I pray for you all the time,” count yourself blessed. Doubly blessed. Because some of greatest power flows into your life due to the prayers of faithful people.
So ask people to pray for you. Don’t be shy. Make that request as often as you can. Get your parents, your children, your church leaders, your friends, or your roommates praying for you.
And pray for them. They may never see you pray. They may never know you pray. But if you’ll bend your knee for them, I’ll extend a hand toward them. That’s how I work.
And often, my Spirit is the one doing the heavy lifting. Invisible yet invincible. As silent yet as strong as the wind. As Spirit, I can work in places and people seemingly impassible and impossible.
So never fear. Help is here.
Blessings be upon you,
Spirit
