Prayer from Psalm 148: Hallelujah Chorus

This entry is part 156 of 158 in the series Prayers from the Psalms

glory2

You are so great, LORD, it would take a chorus of heaven and earth to proclaim it.

I could line up everything in heaven–sun, moon, stars, and angels.

I could line up everything on earth–Humpback whales, the Rockies, apple trees, mice, eagles, kings, presidents, boys and girls, men and women.

And in unison my cosmic chorus could sing, “Hallelujah!”

Still, our voices would not be great enough to proclaim your greatness.
